# Overview

Ionise is a decentralized money market platform on Zilliqa EVM that enables lenders to provide loans and borrowers to take out loans.

On Ionise, you interact with smart contracts, ensuring that no central authority has access to your funds. You have the option to deposit various cryptocurrencies to earn interest. 

The protocol is founded on battle-tested smart contracts (Venus and Compound) and emphasizes a superior user experience and the integration of multiple use cases.
